Here are our top five ways to add personality and creativity to your corporate wardrobe.
Most corporate fashion is made from traditional fibres such as nylon, viscose, cotton and silks. But if you start to experiment with fabrics like leather or other polyester blends whilst mixing with your traditional fabrics you'll be adding some flare and texture to your otherwise plain outfit.
Don't be afraid of colour if you want to add personality, whether it be mixing two bright colours together or going for one bold statement dress, colour is your friend if you want to look creative yet corporate. Even experiment with different coloured shoes, remember the statement Julie Bishop made when she wore those vibrant red shoes!
Traditionally one would wear to the knee but mix it up, why not wear a long tired skirt or a aline skirt with pockets. Perhaps even a pencil skirt with beading. You can always team it with a cotton structured business shirt to add the necessarily corporate element.
I did mention bold colours earlier but sometimes you can make a creative statement just by wearing all black or all white as shown below. Perhaps add your vibrant red heel for an even bigger statement.
Statement Earrings or necklace
If you can't afford to buy new clothes opt for a statement necklace or earrings in a bold colour, length or texture. These always look fab under a button up shirt, or over the top of a plain black dress. Great way to show your personality and it will encourage people to approach you, great conversation starter.
